ZenStream (a project by SummerLabs) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding your personal data.
1. 100% Local Execution (No Browsing History Collected)
We believe your streaming habits should remain private. ZenStream processes all page parsing, ad muting, and ad-acceleration tasks locally inside your browser.
- We do NOT track, record, log, or transmit the movies, videos, live streams, or websites you visit.
- No browsing histories, search keywords, or player logs ever leave your device.
2. Information We Collect
To verify license keys and provide user support, we collect the following minimal credentials:
- Authentication Information: When you sign in with Google or purchase a Pro Lifetime Pass, we store your Google account email, profile name, and avatar URL. This is stored in our database (Cloudflare D1) to verify license validity.
- Telemetry Logs: When downloading the local extension package, our API logs the download event along with the account email to monitor usage and secure against unauthorized distribution.
- Extension Statistics: Statistics shown in your extension popup (like number of ads muted and time saved) are stored strictly locally in your browser's local storage and are never synchronized to our servers.
3. Cookies & Local Storage
We use standard local storage (localStorage) to keep you logged in on the landing page and to bridge your credentials securely to your Chrome extension's internal memory. We do not use advertising or marketing tracker cookies.
4. Data Sharing & Security
We do not sell, rent, trade, or distribute your email or personal information to third parties. All authentication tasks are secured via Google OAuth, and database transactions are hosted on encrypted Cloudflare infrastructures.
